Breeze smart card system integrator Cubic sponsors prizes to winners of MARTA’s Third Annual Dump the Pump Scavenger Hunt

 SAN DIEGO, Calif., June 18, 2015 – Cubic Transportation Systems (CTS), a business of Cubic Corporation (NYSE: CUB) will be participating in the 10th Annual National Dump the Pump Day on June 18 by supporting the Third Annual Dump the Pump Scavenger Hunt, hosted by Cubic’s customer the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA). The scavenger hunt will be held on Saturday, June 20 starting at MARTA’s Five Points Station in Atlanta, Georgia. The National Dump the Pump Day is an annual effort by the American Public Transportation Association (APTA) to get motorists to dump their cars and use public transportation.

Cubic designed and delivered MARTA’s contactless Breeze Card system generates more than 106 million rides a year by local riders and visitors.

Participants of the scavenger hunt will follow clues placed in various MARTA stations and travel around Atlanta deciphering riddles based on the city’s history. The winners of the event will receive prizes, sponsored by Cubic, including Amazon gift cards, free Uber rides and free tickets to Taste of Atlanta.
