Dustin Hinds, senior account executive of Cubic ITS sales, named to industry-leading ITS organization board of directors
SAN DIEGO – Feb. 15, 2023 – Cubic ITS is pleased to announce that Dustin Hinds, senior account executive of ITS sales, has been elected to the Intelligent Transportation Society of California (ITSCA) Board of Directors.
ITSCA is a public/private professional organization formed to foster the development and deployment of intelligent transportation systems in California. By providing education and fostering partnerships in the transportation industry, the organization aims to drive the implementation and commercialization of technology in transportation.
While this is Hinds' first time holding a board seat, his involvement with ITSCA dates back several years, participating in Annual Meetings, assisting with event planning, and presenting at regional meetings.
With his regional territory being the North American West Coast, Hinds is excited to shape and advance the safety of roads and intersections in the Golden State.
“It is an honor to serve on the ITSCA Board of Directors,” Hinds said. “I look forward to working with fellow professionals in the state of California to continue accelerating smart intersections and achieve our goal of net zero accidents for all road users.”
Hinds has spent the past 10 years focused on advancing the ITS industry, joining Cubic during the acquisition of Trafficware. Before joining Cubic's ITS division, he worked in various business development roles, including regional sales manager at Spot Devices and business consultant for Accenture. He earned his B.S. in Accounting from San Diego State University.
