Seasoned executive responsible for scaling and growing Cubic Transportation Systems’ operations in Eastern region
 

SAN DIEGO – Oct. 8, 2019 – Cubic Corporation (NYSE: CUB) today announced its Cubic Transportation Systems (CTS) business division appointed Kay Maloney as vice president and general manager of Eastern region, North America. In this role, Maloney will oversee CTS business operations and programs throughout this extensive region.

Maloney has more than 15 years of experience in organizational leadership, strategy, program management, capture management and engineering. She joins Cubic from Harris Corporation where she held several leadership roles including program director for its precision, navigation and timing; as well as space systems and ranges programs. Most recently, Maloney served as the company’s general manager of space control where she led its strategic program campaigns and significantly increased revenue and operating income.

Maloney is a results-driven leader with in-depth experience leading profit and loss (P&L) businesses. She is also experienced in overseeing business unit integration through large company acquisitions. Maloney holds a bachelor’s degree in information technology from the University of Central Florida and a master’s degree in systems engineering from the Florida Institute of Technology.
