Leaders from Cubic Transportation Systems and Urban Insights Associates to collaborate on transportation challenges and solutions
SAN DIEGO, Calif., June 12, 2015 – Cubic Transportation Systems (CTS), a business of Cubic Corporation (NYSE: CUB), today announced the participation of three of its leaders in the 30th Annual Transport Chicago 2015 Conference held in Chicago, Illinois on June 12. Transport Chicago is an annual conference that provides a forum for members of the public transportation industry to share and disseminate information related to transportation planning, policy and programs.
Steven J. Norris, a former United Kingdom minister of transport and member of the Cubic Corporation board of directors will be a keynote speaker at the event. Norris served for 14 years as a U.K. Member of Parliament in the governments of Margaret Thatcher and John Major. He filled various seats in Parliament prior to being appointed Minister for Transport in 1992, a post held until his retirement from parliament in 1997. In addition, Michael Loeffler, operations manager of Cubic Transportation Systems and Wade Rosado, analytics director for Cubic subsidiary Urban Insights Associates will present at panel sessions to discuss key data findings and analysis that affect public transportation.
