Cubic Transportation Systems executive to highlight next-generation back office solutions for tolling industry

SAN DIEGO – May 24, 2016 – Cubic Transportation Systems (CTS), a business unit of Cubic Corporation (NYSE:CUB), today announced that Jon Ramirez, director of tolling worldwide at CTS, will participate in a panel discussion on international tolling projects at the National Electronic Tolling Forum 2016 held in Brisbane, Australia from May 25 – 26. Organized by Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) Australia with the theme “Smart City Tolling,” the event will host leading authorities in the field and examine solutions to smart city congestion using emerging and ITS technologies.

At the event, Ramirez will offer insights into Cubic’s advanced electronic tolling, video tolling and violation processing solutions, which will go live for the New Hampshire Department of Transportation in late 2016. 

“The next-generation back office solutions for managing toll collection will deliver a number of key benefits,” said Ramirez. “Cubic’s solutions provide the flexibility, customization and technological support our customers are seeking, including faster travel and convenience when paying tolls.”
