SAN DIEGO - Cubic Corporation (NYSE:CUB) today announced the appointment of Phillip Walsh as Senior ITS Business Development Director, Asia Pacific for Cubic Transportation Systems (CTS). Walsh will be responsible for spearheading the company’s surface transport management expansion program in the Asia Pacific region and leading the Intelligent Congestion Management Program in the Australian state of New South Wales.

Walsh has more than 25 years experience in the public and private sectors and has a proven history of delivering complex transport and infrastructure projects both in Australia and overseas.

Most recently, Walsh served as the Executive Manager of Transport Technology for Visionstream (a Ventia Company), where he was responsible for the company’s growth and project delivery across the road and rail sectors, including the New South Wales M4 Smart Motorway, Victorian M80 Ring Road, Northern Sections and South Australian North South Corridor, Regency Road to Pym Street.
