Live from Brisbane
We're excited to be back on the tradeshow floor at Land Forces to share our leading live, virtual and constructive (LVC) simulation and training solutions, along with our command, control, communications, computers, intelligence and surveillance (C4ISR) offering.
Virtual sessions available
In light of the Victorian COVID lockdown, we understand that many of our customers and suppliers will now be unable to attend in person. We have full video conferencing and virtual demonstrations available and look forward to catching up with Victorian representatives online.
About Land Forces
Land Forces is the region's premier international land defence exposition, showcasing the equipment, technology and services for the armies of Australia and the Indo-Asia-Pacific.
Modern Range Network
The Integrated Training Environment (ITE) addresses the requirement for a modern training range system that is cost-effective, secure, scalable and flexible enough to support all forms of training - from individual to advanced joint collective training.
The ITE is a modern range network, delivering results through standards-based interfaces to the Internet of Things, other simulation standards, range control and target systems.
The ITE is an open architecture, high-capacity, low-latency, persistent and reliable, fixed communications network. It enables the integration of live training instrumentation systems with virtual and constructive simulation environments. The ITE uses the 5G standard to future-proof system architecture and a private 4G signal to maximise the area of coverage.
Multi-Domain LVC Training
Synthetic wrap expands the live instrumented training environment by adding virtual and constructive training systems, enabling soldiers to train with platforms and deliver effects that would otherwise be prohibited by cost, scarcity or safety.
Synthetic wrap mirrors real-world training through the accurate replication of terrain and exercising forces. Soldiers in the field can observe the virtual world through mission appropriate hardware. The experience is further enhanced by adding constructively simulated forces, with simulated effects relayed to instrumented troops so that the consequences of action are correctly reflected.
Enabling Valuable After Action Review Feedback
CATS MetrixTM is used for Exercise Control and After Action Review by operators and instructors to plan, conduct, control, monitor, record, debrief and evaluate live force-on-force training up to Brigade level.
CATS MetrixTM uses a variety of presentation methods to provide valuable feedback to a training unit, including highlighting areas of exceptional performance and identifying deficiencies to be corrected.
Integrated Solutions for Training and Exercises, Crisis Management and Risk
Cubic is proud to partner with 4C Strategies to offer Exonaut® Solutions in Australia and New Zealand. Exonaut® features a broad range of tailored solutions to manage complex exercises, enable capability development, and enhance readiness. Use cases include:
- Integrated exercise planning and management.
- Command and Control for military and emergency services.
- Trials and Experimentation management.
Simulating Real-life Tactical Situations
The Tactical Exercise Without Troops (TEWT) Tool is a software system used for planning, executing and recording results for exercise scenarios performed by members of the Australian Army in a non-deployed environment.
The system allows trainers to allocate modules to trainees simulating real-life tactical situations involving textual, audio, video, virtual reality and map-based capabilities. Exercises submitted by trainees are assessed with results made available in varying formats suitable for different audiences.
Snobal: Powering Virtual Reality & Augmented Reality for Business
We're pleased to be collaborating with Snobal to demonstrate the use of virtual reality and augmented reality (XR) to solve mission-critical issues.
Snobal's XR engine, Snobal Cloud is an enterprise grade XR deployment, authoring and reporting platform enabling businesses to easily deploy, content author and report XR solutions.
With operations in Melbourne and Singapore, Snobal has been an innovator and industry leader in advancing the use of XR for business and education since 2014.
Deploy Fast, Connect Faster
Guided by continuous customer collaboration, our rugged compute and networking platforms enable operations at the tactical edge with complete multi-domain confidence for every mission.
Through continuous customer collaboration and a development philosophy focused on everything forward, our low size, weight, power and cost (SWaP-C) modular platforms, combined with the latest wireless technologies, deliver easy-to-use secure baseband solutions that reduce deployment times and logistical footprint.
XD Solutions
Cubic’s Cross-Domain (XD) Solutions are low size, weight and power (SWaP), high-performance tactical-to-enterprise appliances providing secure delivery of bidirectional data transfer across all warfighting domains.
XD Solutions create secure, redundant, and reliable cross-domain entry points across networks for maximum warfighting survivability.
Full-Motion Video Enhancement
Designed to maximise situational awareness, Cubic's MotionDSP software fuses and delivers full-motion video enhancement and exploitation capabilities to all operational levels; from tactical environments to operations centres.
MotionDSP ISR can concurrently apply more than twenty different algorithms to analogue or digital video feeds in real-time, correcting common video issues such as poor signal quality, compression artifacts, de-interlacing, atmospheric haze, poor lighting conditions, and platform shake.
MotionDSP JET integrates multiple third-party artificial intelligence/machine learning classification and orthorectification systems.
From the Cloud to the Cargo Pocket
Cubic-owned PIXIA® offers cloud-based platforms designed to manage and share large amounts of imagery data, wide-area motion imagery and geospatial data for Defence and other government customers.
Our enterprise-grade tools empower teams to reach and leverage the right data, wherever and whenever it’s needed most.
PIXIA® technology empowers leaders to make smarter decisions, fast.
This project received grant funding from the Australian Government.
We're proud to represent our Land Forces partners who are unable to join us in person due to border restrictions.
