Delivering High-Bandwidth Satellite Communications and Rugged Modem Capabilities to the USSOCOM Warfighter

Cubic’s GATR Inflatable Satellite Antennas (ISA’s) provide high bandwidth capabilities while providing significant Size, Weight, and Power (SWaP) advantages over rigid parabolic antennas of similar aperture size. USSOCOM’s Components and TSOC’s will realize a fourfold increase in performance compared to the same weight and volume of traditional rigid parabolic antennas half the aperture size of GATR ISA’s.  Providing a lightweight SATCOM capability that delivers more throughput, simple setup, configuration, and operation ultimately frees up premium transportation space allowing USSOCOM to get additional combat assets on the ground with less transportation requirements. When compared to similar sized aperture antennas the GATR ISA’s pack into 50% to 80% less space.
