Cubic will showcase industry-leading solutions to close the near-peer training gap, using multi-domain, cloud-based software to provide data analytics and battlespace visualization, integrating 5th/4th generation encrypted Air Combat Maneuvering Instrumentation and Live-Virtual-Constructive (LVC) systems.
Pilots and aircrews worldwide have relied on Cubic’s Individual Combat Aircrew Display System (ICADS®) as their choice of combat display and debrief software system. However, in order to tackle the complexities of modern multi-domain operations and training, we developed SPEAR as a clean-slate solution to provide an order of magnitude increase in capability founded on three key concepts:
- Live, Virtual, Constructive (LVC) Integration
- Common Data Model (CDM)
- Learning Management with Rapid Analysis
Cubic provides the information advantage essential for Joint All-Domain Operations in the most demanding, disaggregated, and contested environments. Awarded in all seven ABMS categories, we are postured to deliver comprehensive C4ISR solutions to help the Air Force achieve its vision for Joint All-Domain Command and Control over the next decade.
We offer a full range of innovative capabilities, including advanced wideband tactical communications and protected waveforms, integrated edge computing suites and scalable digital intelligence solutions.
Validated with Operational USN and USAF Fighter aircraft in 2018 over 97 sorties, Cubic delivered a Joint MILS NSA Type 1 encrypted SITL-LVC ACTS solution using Industry Open Standard protocols and US Government owned 5GATW Data link to the CAF DMON standard. The architecture is built for 4th and 5th Gen platforms leveraging existing ACTS infrastructure. No other Company has actually demonstrated an ability to inject virtual (simulator flown) and constructive (computer generated) synthetic injects into live fighter cockpit displays at LFE scale.
Cubic’s solution for the P5 System Security Update meets the Air Force’s P6 Requirements at less than 7% of the cost of competing systems. And, P5 SSU will be compatible with over 650 F-35s containing the P5 Internal Subsystem for a complete, secure ACMI training architecture for the USAF, USN, USMC, and all partner nations.
