TeraLogics executive to share insights on the critical advantage of Full Motion Video and Unified Video®

SAN DIEGO – March 28, 2016 – Cubic Corporation (NYSE: CUB) today announced that Dave Beliveau, vice president of ISR solutions at its subsidiary TeraLogics, LLC, which operates within the Cubic Global Defense (CGD) business unit, will join leading experts in discussing cutting-edge Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities at the Next-Generation ISR Symposium held in Arlington, Virginia from March 29 – 30. Organized by Technology Training Corporation, the Next-Generation ISR Symposium, not only highlights new technologies and available platforms, but also explores the latest in government and Department of Defense needs and requirements.

At the event, Beliveau will highlight why it’s important to evolve the industry strategy for leveraging video intelligence, as access to an increasing amount of real-time video from both traditional and non-traditional sources will soon overwhelm current Defense Process, Exploitation, and Dissemination (PED) systems and practices. Beliveau will also discuss TeraLogics’ Unified Video®, which provides a single platform for real-time viewing, exploitation and archival, and offers collaboration tools that enhance insight by adding meaningful, sharable context to any kind of video content.

“The ISR industry needs to greatly expand its intelligence reach with the development of tools and applications that incorporate more non-traditional video data; otherwise, the existing advantage in Airborne ISR could be threatened by this data’s growing availability,” said Beliveau. “TeraLogics’ Unified Video® streaming software is an example of a video management tool that can ingest both traditional and non-traditional video sources to allow our customers to take the best decisive action.”

Beliveau will be speaking at the following session:

  • Rethinking Full Motion Video Analysis and Exploitation in the World of Ubiquitous Real-Time Video
Wednesday, March 30, 3:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Rosslyn, Arlington, Virginia
