Vice President of Innovation to highlight Cubic Global Defense’s NeuroBridge software and its integration with gaming

SAN DIEGO – July 21, 2015 – Cubic Corporation (NYSE: CUB) today announced that Amy Kruse, vice president of innovation at the company’s subsidiary Intific, will be a featured speaker at the Serious Play Conference taking place at Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania from July 21 - 23. Hosted by the Serious Play Association, an international organization for the serious games industry, the Serious Play Conference is an annual event held for professionals who embrace the idea that games can revolutionize learning. Kruse will speak about the integration of neuroscience and gaming in a session titled, “Neuroscience + Gaming = Neurogaming: Getting Brains in the Game.”

The session will explore the fusion of games with neuroscience concepts and hardware, including specific examples of games created by Intific for both educational and entertainment purposes. Kruse will also highlight Intific’s NeuroBridge software product and its capability to connect neurophysiological and physiological sensors to games in actual time. As part of the Cubic Global Defense (CGD) business unit, Intific utilizes the NeuroBridge software product with CGD’s live, virtual, constructive (LVC) systems to optimize the training experience.
