MaaS thought leader Crissy Ditmore partners with Florida Department of Transportation to promote and encourage multimodal transportation choices

SAN DIEGO – Oct. 25, 2019 – Cubic Corporation (NYSE:CUB) today announced that Crissy Ditmore, director of strategy for its Cubic Transportation Systems (CTS) business division, will discuss how Mobility as a Service (MaaS) can help address the need for safe, multimodal transportation choices at the 2019 Mobility Week. Taking place October 25 - November 1, Mobility Week is Florida’s annual collection of statewide outreach events intended to bring attention to, promote and encourage a new way of getting around the region.

“Florida has it all – a widespread network of roads and highways, a well-developed public transit offering and a host of third-party transportation services,” said Ditmore. “In the shift to new mobility, where the focus is on the user experience, we have to think of ways to use our infrastructure differently and encourage travelers to become more creative with their mobility choices. That is where MaaS can help guide change based on policy driven solutions.”

Ditmore will present during the National Expert Presentation and Questions session:

An avid MaaS advocate, Ditmore works on the expansion of MaaS across the globe as part of Cubic’s strategy team. She serves as board chair of the TravelSpirit Foundation North America and is a founding member of the Coalition for Smarter Transportation, which works toward refining open and accessible tools for an integrated mobility future while unifying public and private interests for the common good. She was recently recognized on Mass Transit magazine’s 40 Under 40 list.
