Cubic Global Defense to highlight integration of Live, Virtual, Constructive and Gaming training solutions in a dynamic environment
SAN DIEGO – January 13, 2016 – Cubic Global Defense (CGD), a business unit of Cubic Corporation (NYSE: CUB), today announced that John Kling, program manager of Cubic’s Korea Battle Simulation Center (KBSC), will present a briefing on applying the concept of ‘blended training’ in the battlefield environment at MilSim Asia 2016 conference to be held in Marina Bay Sands, Singapore from January 19 – 20. Kling will discuss Cubic’s integrated use of Live, Virtual, Constructive and Gaming (LVCG) capabilities in a complex training environment to enhance unit readiness.
MilSim Asia is the only event for the military training, simulation and education community in the region. Key military personnel and participants will address the theme, “Enhancing Military Capability in an Era of Asian Modernisation,” along with the latest innovations, challenges and future requirements of the sector.

During the event, Kling will highlight Cubic’s KBSC, which provides theater-level, manual and computer-assisted training exercises in the Republic of Korea, Japan and other locations around the world. The training at KBSC includes battle simulation training, live virtual gaming capabilities, planning and coordination, and facilitation of the four Services, Joint and Combined exercises, particularly in conjunction with the Pacific Theater region.
