Cubic Global Defense offers cutting-edge validated Air Combat Maneuvering Instrumentation (ACMI) systems and technologies
SAN DIEGO, Calif., June 11, 2015 – Cubic Global Defense (CGD), a business of Cubic Corporation (NYSE: CUB) will exhibit its innovative range of air combat training systems and technologies at the 51st International Paris Air Show held in Paris, France from June 15 to June 18. The International Paris Air Show is one of the largest and longest-running aerospace tradeshows offering a window into the dynamic industry, for both commercial and military.
“Cubic’s air combat training systems are essential to aircrew for unit mission readiness. Our systems and technologies provide the highly accurate, secure and reliable tools needed for live training management, engagement adjudication, plus post mission analysis in an extremely challenging environment,” said Bill Toti, president of Cubic Global Defense. “Our ACMI systems set the standard for multi-national air-to-air and air-to-ground training exercises by armed forces around the world. Cubic has delivered more than 75 percent of all Air Combat Maneuvering Instrumentation (ACMI) pods in use today.”
At the event, attendees will have the opportunity to examine and discuss Cubic’s line-up of various ACMI systems and technologies, including:
- JSF P5 Internal System (JSF P5IS): As part of the F-35 program, Cubic and principal subcontractor DRS developed the JSF P5IS to provide a state-of-the-art encrypted ACMI capability. It is compatible and interoperable with P5 Combat Training System (P5CTS) equipped aircraft and range infrastructures worldwide. The JSF Off board Mission System (OMS) includes the Individual Combat Aircrew Debriefing System (ICADSTM) software for live training management and debriefing.
- P5 Combat Training System (P5CTS): The P5CTS is Cubic and subcontractor DRS’ fifth generation ACMI system and is the global standard in air combat training systems. The system is consistently enhanced through aircraft and ground range integration, life cycle sustainment and capability growth programs.
- Individual Combat Aircrew Debriefing System (ICADS): As the most widely used aircrew debriefing tool in the world, ICADS is a feature-rich, upgradeable display system that provides a highly accurate 3D perspective for both live mission management and post flight analysis of air combat missions. ICADS supports large force exercise as well as individual unit/flight training requirements.
- Live Virtual and Constructive (LVC) Training Solutions: Cubic is building upon its vast experience in air combat training to develop and deliver LVC training solutions. Collaboration with multiple government agencies and industry partners on key capability upgrades allows us to provide an open, secure and high data throughput training environment that maximizes combat readiness while providing scalable solutions from unit to large force exercise levels.
