SAN DIEGO, Calif. – Feb. 11, 2015 – Cubic Corporation (NYSE: CUB), announced today it has been recognized as one of the top performing defense contractors under the U.S. Department of Defense’s Superior Supplier Incentive Program (SSIP). The ranking of the top 25 supplier units within the contracting industry is part of a continuing effort to improve the government’s largest procurement operations by curbing costs and professionalizing the workforce. Cubic ranked as a tier 2 supplier for the U.S. Army.

The ratings are based on an internal data system known as the Contractor Performance Assessment Reporting System (CPARS). The SSIP uses performance data to rate the largest companies doing business with each of the three services, based on contract obligations, and categorizes by company business segment into one of three performance tiers.

“Cubic is honored to be recognized as a superior supplier by the U.S. Department of Defense. It’s our mission to remain focused on meeting the needs of the defense industry and this ranking validates our hard work and efforts on behalf of our most important customers,” said Bradley H. Feldmann, president and chief executive officer of Cubic. “We believe it’s our company culture to win the customer by delivering superior value through early delivery, providing the best people, being absolutely responsive and innovating what’s next with our customers.”
