SAN DIEGO, Calif. – December 3, 2013 – Cubic Corporation (NYSE: CUB) announced today Brad Feldmann, president and chief operating officer (COO) of Cubic Corporation, will present at the CONNECT CEO Strategy Forum. The CEO Strategy Forum is a growing community of CEOs and Presidents from technology and life sciences companies focused on sharing their successes, challenges and management techniques to help each other overcome obstacles and accelerate business growth. The event will be held on Dec. 10, 2013 at Cubic headquarters.
In the midst of dramatic defense cutbacks and the loss of Cubic’s founder, Mr. Feldmann provided a steady hand to Cubic’s leadership team. Under Mr. Feldmann’s leadership, Cubic has stood out as an example of how companies manage change. Among the topics that Mr. Feldmann is expected to address includes:
- Managing through new fiscal realties
- Leading through the big challenges without hitting the panic button
- Managing extreme change
Mr. Feldmann will be interviewed directly in front of a small group of C-suite executives. After a brief interview, participants will be invited to ask questions of Mr. Feldmann in an open discussion. Attendees are invited to attend a networking reception immediately following the event.
Prior to joining Cubic, Mr. Feldmann served as the president of the companies comprising the Cubic Defense Systems segment since 2008. Prior to re-joining Cubic in 2008, he held senior leadership positions at OMNIPLEX World Services Corporation and ManTech International. He previously worked at Cubic Defense Applications from 1989 to 1999.
Mr. Feldmann is a graduate of the Stanford Executive Institute and holds a Master of Business Administration from San Diego State University. He is also a distinguished graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy with Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and a top graduate of Squadron Officer’s School.
