SAN DIEGO – Nov. 1, 2018 – Cubic Corporation (NYSE:CUB) today announced its Cubic Mission Solutions (CMS) business division will participate at IWCE’s Critical LTE Communications Forum held in Chicago, IL from November 6–7. IWCE’s Critical LTE Communications Forum is the only event in the industry dedicated to critical communications for government, public safety, critical infrastructure and enterprises as they prepare to transition from land mobile radio (LMR) to mission critical long-term evolution (LTE) and state and local governments prepare for FirstNet and Smart Cities.
“Cubic Mission Solutions provides the only certified Radio over IP (RoIP) gateway with embedded 4G LTE operating on both AT&T and Verizon networks today,” said Travis Queen, senior director of commercial business development and strategy, CMS. “No matter the market verticals we serve, this software-defined platform delivers powerful performance in a reduced size, weight and power (SWaP) form-factor, ensuring our customers have a scalable LMR-to-LTE interoperability solution for years to come.”
“The interoperability of LTE and LMR is important as public safety networks evolve to meet the demands of mission critical applications,” said Mike Barney, director of public safety programs, CMS. “We look forward to discussing the impacts of new broadband offerings on existing LMR and emergency communications systems.”
