New XD-10G cross-domain transfer appliance features ability to securely and rapidly process and route streaming video
HERNDON, Virginia – October 9, 2012 – Cubic Cyber Solutions, the subsidiary of Cubic Corporation (NYSE: CUB) that develops versatile cross-domain transfer appliances, recently introduced its new XD-10G solution for high-speed one-way transfer using a 10-GB processor.
Cubic will showcase XD-1000 and XD-10G products at the GEOINT 2012 Symposium from October 8-11 in Booth #154 at the Gaylord Palms in Orlando, Florida.
Cubic’s certified and accredited cross-domain transfer appliances cover the entire range of domains, from unclassified to top secret, ensuring secure access to data and services in a multi-level domain environment. Cubic’s XD-1000 and the new XD-10G are validated by the Unified Cross Domain Management Office (UCDMO) and will satisfy any requirement for secure cross-domain transfer of information among users with all levels of security classifications. Each Cubic device includes a simple graphic user interface and 100 percent solid-state components, providing lower power utilization for their speed than any comparable cross-domain guard.

The XD-10G provides all the applications and solutions of our XD-1000 at significantly increased speed and throughput. In addition, it includes File/Data Transfer, SharePoint and Database Replication, and One Way Print and enables secure, one-way transfer of streaming video with metadata tags based upon source and classification to allow intelligent routing decisions at the destination. It also handles sensor data in multiple forms, sensor status reports, still images, and transfer of text files from unclassified networks to classified networks for improved situational awareness, sensor awareness, sensor tasking, and intelligence analysis.
