Hagerty to strengthen innovation initiatives throughout the company
SAN DIEGO – Oct. 26, 2017 – Cubic Corporation (NYSE: CUB) today announced the promotion of chief engineer, Melanie Hagerty to vice president of innovation, effective October 28. In her new role, Hagerty will lead Cubic’s innovation objectives, develop new ideas and product concepts, drive co-development with customers and enhance Cubic’s innovation social system.

Hagerty has held various engineering roles with Cubic Global Defense (CGD) and has been with the company for 13 years. Most recently, as one of CGD’s chief engineers, she oversaw the design, product development, program execution and business growth for its Air Ranges segment.
Prior to joining Cubic, Hagerty held positions as a design engineer, test engineer and lead systems engineer for Raytheon and L3 Communications. She has also served as an electronics and radar engineer for the U.S. Air Force while stationed at Hill Air Force Base in Utah.
