SAN DIEGO, Calif. – June 17, 2014 – Cubic Corporation (NYSE: CUB) announced today that it was selected as the primary subcontractor for the Northrop Grumman team to support the NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk (FLCN) Detachment Philadelphia. Northrop Grumman Technical Services, Herndon, Va. was awarded a cost-plus-fixed-fee, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract (N00189-14-D-Z012) to support the Joint Staff J7 Joint Force Development Program on May 1, 2014. The program has a five year period of performance with a total potential contract value of $877 million. Cubic anticipates its subcontract value to be $125 million over the five years.

This multiple award contract provides Joint Force Development and Training support, primarily at the U.S. Joint Staff J7 complex in Suffolk, Va. The program focuses on support to Combatant Commands, Joint Task Force Headquarters, Joint Force Functional Component Headquarters, and multinational partners worldwide. Support includes the planning and execution of joint events, collective and individual joint training, Joint and Coalition Operational Analysis, Joint Doctrine, Joint Deployment Training Center, Service Joint Training Environment, and Joint Knowledge Online. 

Cubic has actively supported this and the predecessor programs since the inception of the Joint Warfighting Center at Ft. Monroe in 1994 and has been a prime or primary support contractor since 1997.
