SAN DIEGO, Calif. – Dec. 23, 2014 – Cubic Applications, Inc., an operating company of the Mission Support Services business segment of Cubic Corporation (NYSE: CUB), was one of three companies awarded a firm fixed price, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) to provide training, education and exercise assistance for the Army Capabilities Integration Center (ARCIC), Training and Doctrine Command. The ARCIC IDIQ contract has an estimated completion date of Dec. 18, 2019, with a maximum value of $240 million for all three ID/IQ awardees. The ARCIC work will be performed at Fort Eustis, Virginia; Fort Bliss, Texas and Fort Leavenworth, Kansas.
Cubic Applications, Inc. was also awarded the first competed ARCIC ID/IQ Task Order to provide mission support services for the ARCIC Brigade Modernization Command (BMC). The BMC work will be performed at Fort Bliss, Texas and Fort Eustis, Virginia and will commence on March 1, 2015 with an estimated completion date of Feb. 28, 2018.
The ARCIC develops concepts and capabilities, evaluates proposed Army modernization solutions and integrates those capabilities across doctrine, organizations, training, material, leadership and education, personnel and facilities (DOTMLPF). The BMC conducts integration and evaluations of the network, non-network, and other developmental and emerging capabilities in order to provide DOTMLPF recommendations to the Army.
The contract award further strengthens Cubic's role as a key global provider of training, education and staffing services for the U.S. Department of Defense (DOD). Cubic’s ARCIC IDIQ contract includes a five year ordering period, with a value of up to $80 million. Cubic's Operations Support and Education Group (OSEG), based in Hampton, Virginia, will lead Cubic’s execution of the new ARCIC contract starting Dec. 19, 2014, providing a seamless continuity of service.

L. Marshall & Associates; Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control; Marton Technologies, Inc.; nLogic; Ohana Consulting, LLC; Titania Solutions Group and Virginia Modeling and Simulation Center. Cubic program manager, Sharon Hamilton will lead the ARCIC team. Hamilton, a retired Army Colonel, has more than 29 years of experience in Army program management, capabilities development, training and education, and planning and executing large-scale exercises.
