SAN DIEGO, Calif. – June 19, 2014 – Cubic Applications, Inc., an operating company of the Mission Support Services business unit of Cubic Corporation (NYSE: CUB),  was awarded the “One Acquisition Solution for Integrated Services” (OASIS) contract vehicle in the unrestricted award category, Pool 3 - Engineering Services and Professional Support administered by the General Services Administration (GSA).  The OASIS contract vehicle includes five base years and one five-year option.

OASIS is a government-wide, multiple award, indefinite delivery/ indefinite quantity (MA-IDIQ) acquisition contract. The government designed OASIS to provide agencies with a full range of service requirements that integrate multiple professional service disciplines and ancillary services and products with the flexibility for all contract types and pricing at the task order level. The contract has no specified maximum dollar ceiling; however, GSA estimates that all federal agencies will employ OASIS globally for task orders exceeding multiple billions of dollars over the next ten years.

This contract award further broadens Cubic's role as a key global provider of professional and engineering services. Mission Support Services, which includes Cubic Applications, Inc., comprises more than 4,000 Cubic employees working at more than 130 locations in more than 20 nations worldwide. Cubic serves with clients in actual training and operational environments to help prepare and support forces through provision of comprehensive training, exercises, education, operational, intelligence, special operations, and logistical assistance to meet the full scope of their assigned missions.

Cubic's Operations Support and Education Group (OSEG), based in Hampton, Va., will lead Cubic in execution of its new OASIS contract starting in late July. Due to the broad scope of the contract, Cubic expects to support OASIS task orders for federal agency work around the globe.

"Cubic is proud to win one of the awards in the highly competitive Engineering Services and Professional Support Pool,” said Rich Bristow, senior vice president and general manager of Cubic’s Operations Support and Education Group. “This contract is a testament to Cubic’s experience and expertise in training, exercise support, logistics, and maintenance support.”
