SAN DIEGO – December 12, 2016 – Cubic Mission Solutions (CMS), a business division of Cubic Corporation (NYSE: CUB) today announced the new hires of Jeremiah “Jerry” R. Madigan as vice president of secure communications and Robert M. Peabody as vice president of systems strategy. Madigan and Peabody will strengthen CMS’ secure communications efforts and further support the business division’s strategies. Madigan and Peabody will report to Mike Twyman, president of CMS.

Their roles will be essential as we expand our C4ISR strategy and broaden our reach globally.”

As the new vice president of secure communications, Madigan will oversee Cubic’s command, control, communications, computer, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (C4ISR) products, including data links, avionics and communication products.

Prior to Cubic, Madigan was executive director for the Missile Defense Systems business unit at Aerojet Rocketdyne and previously worked at Northrop Grumman for 25 years, where he held various management positions in program management, engineering and supply chain management as well as 10 years as program vice president. Furthermore, he served as a captain in the United States Air Force.

Peabody joins Cubic with more than 30 years of experience in the specification, design, implementation and management of networked computer system solutions for C4I, engineering analysis and mission planning systems. In his new role, Peabody will focus on directing technology and business strategies for architecture, systems of systems and product lines across Cubic’s C4ISR business division.

Prior to Cubic, Peabody served as a Northrop Grumman Technical Fellow and held various positions including C2 Systems Architect for NG’s C4I Business Unit, Chief Architect for the Global Command & Control System – Joint (GCCS-J) and Chief Systems Engineer for the Integrated C4I Systems Framework. Peabody also served as the Chief Engineer for the Tomahawk Strike Coordination Module, BAE Systems’ first production Strike Planning System for the U.S. Navy.
