Cubic Global Defense’s Dr. James Blake to share insights as former U.S. Army PEO-STRI officer

SAN DIEGO – August 13, 2015 – Cubic Global Defense (CGD), a business unit of Cubic Corporation (NYSE: CUB), today announced that Dr. James Blake, vice president and deputy general manager of integrated training solutions, will present to the Synthetic Environment Working Group at the 20th Annual SimTect Conference & Expo, taking place at the Adelaide Convention Centre, Adelaide, Australia from August 17 - 21. Sponsored by Simulation Australasia Ltd., SimTect is one of the largest tradeshows in the Asia-Pacific region showcasing modeling and simulation technologies, methodologies and research. With cross disciplinary gathering of industries, users, developers, decision makers and researchers, SimTect provides a unique platform to connect with the simulation community and learn about the latest national and international developments.

Blake will discuss issues and solutions he encountered in his previous role as U.S. Army Program Executive Officer for Simulation, Training and Instrumentation (PEO STRI), as well as applications to Australia’s Future Simulation Capability. The Future Simulation Capability will enable the Australian Defence Force to attain a persistent, integrated and distributed core simulation capability.
