Cubic Mission Solutions’ C4ISR Center of Excellence reaffirms its commitment to serving its customers
SAN DIEGO – May 12, 2020 – Cubic Corporation (NYSE:CUB) today announced its Cubic Mission Solutions (CMS) business division has relocated its Tampa operations to a larger office space to accommodate the continuous growth of the business. The strategic relocation will allow Cubic to be closer in proximity to its U.S. military customers, enabling the company to further support customers with critical military Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) technology solutions as well as ensure the safe and effective execution of their missions.
“As our Cubic Mission Solutions business continues to grow, the expansion of our Tampa operations enables us to better serve our key customers,” said Mike Twyman, president of Cubic Mission Solutions. “Our new and expanded office space will not only be the home base for our Tampa personnel, but it will also enable support for two strategic cooperative research and development agreements we have with U.S. Special Operations Command.”
Cubic’s Tampa operations is responsible for several key communications and intelligence programs across multiple combatant commands and subordinate units across the globe. For the Tampa area specifically, Cubic supports current and future C4ISR programs for U.S. Special Operations Command (SOCOM), Central Command (CENTCOM), Transportation Command (TRANSSCOM) and Southern Command (SOUTHCOM).
The new location will serve as one of Cubic’s C4ISR Centers of Excellence, in addition to the company’s proven and successful customer-centric facilities in Fort Meade, Maryland; Aberdeen Proving Grounds, Maryland; and Fort Bragg, North Carolina. It will have the capability to house an integration lab and technology demonstration area for customer interaction and participation.
