Accelerating Warfighter Effectiveness to the Edge
Cubic enables the decision advantage for Joint All-Domain Operations and accelerates readiness to ensure our warfighters are prepared to face an advanced enemy on Night One. Our mission inspired C5ISR solutions deliver assured Multi-Domain data access and converged digital intelligence. We provide the High Capacity Backbone, offer a revolutionary common data model for training, and are the only company to inject blended constructive and virtual tracks into fighter cockpit displays at LFE scale. Join us at AFA Air, Space and Cyber Conference for a first-hand look at our C5ISR and LVC Training capabilities.
Edge Compute and Networking at the Tactical Edge
Cubic’s high-performance, low SWaP secure computing solutions unleash the Global Internet of Military Things, delivering the speed, agility, and processing power for agile combat employment. With Cubic’s Cross-Domain appliances, featuring redundant filters built around “raise the bar” guidance, bidirectional data transfer and streaming with video enhancement is now possible at the tactical edge.
The Core of the USAF High-Capacity Backbone (HCB)
Cubic’s Halo digital beam forming phased array is the core of the USAF’s High-Capacity Backbone (HCB). Halo is a software defined antenna that can host multiple waveforms including a Cubic-developed protected covert advanced tactical data link with Government Purpose Rights. Halo overcomes the limitations of Multi-Feed Analog Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) solutions to empower information sharing between the joint force, allies, and partners. Halo creates a self-healing aerial mesh network that will provide our warfighters with a high capacity information super-highway to drive decision dominance.
ISR from the Cloud to the Cargo Pocket
Cubic Digital Intelligence (CDI) delivers the information advantage with a modular open data architecture approach that provides unmatched shared situational awareness for Operational Commanders across all domains at the tactical, operational, and strategic levels. Our highly agile capabilities deliver a real-time situational overview of the intelligence and operational environment to support decision making at every echelon.
Training for the High-End Fight
SITL-LVC brings the realism of the near-peer fight to the cockpits of 4th and 5th generation platforms. Cubic, industry, and government have demonstrated/proven that SITL LVC can be achieved with minimal investment and low risk to close the live-training proficiency gap by 2025. Secure LVC Advanced Training Environment (SLATE) injects synthetic entities from human-operated simulators (Virtual) and computer-generated-forces (Constructive) into live cockpits: platforms, weapons, and effects across the electromagnetic (EM)/infrared (IR) spectrums. Cubic is the only company with proven expertise to integrate LVC.
Common Data Platform for Multi-Domain Training
SPEAR is a modern, DoD approved tech stack that reduces cognitive burden through optimized displays & analytics of kinetic and non-kinetic data, with weapons effects, in multi-domain operations and LVC environments. SPEAR melds objective and subjective data with time sync’d mission log in real time and for after action reporting. SPEAR ingests lossless data, provides and stores outputs in analyzable format(s) for Learning Management System inclusion. Users are able to open one program, authenticate/optimize via credentials, and access callable “workspaces.” The SPEAR server/client architecture allows for seamless distributed debrief and execution at geographically separated units in real time. Before, during, and after training missions, SPEAR uses channelization to process all data ingest and adjudication at the same time from every SPEAR client. SPEAR gets you to “What Happened?” quickly, leaving more time to figure out “Why it Happened?”
Enabling New Levels of Integration between 4th and 5th Generation Aircraft
P5 System Security Update (SSU) and P5 Internal Subsystem (IS) will provide a field modification to existing P5 pods to deliver encrypted Air Combat Training System (ACMI) to the U.S. Air Force for approximately 7% cost of competitors like capability. Cubic is on contract to provide the upgrade with fielding by 2024. P5 SSU pods are directly compatible with Cubic’s F-35 P5 IS providing untethered level II integration. Cubic has delivered over 1000 F-35 P5 IS and remains the only ACMI option available for at least the next 3 years. The fielding of P5 SSU in combination with P5 IS provides a new level of training integration between 4th and 5th generation aircraft and enables protection of U.S. Air Force Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures at home or abroad.
