This month marks the annual celebration and recognition of African Americans who have played an important role in U.S. history. Since 1976, every U.S. president has officially designated February as Black History Month. We place tremendous value in establishing an environment where all races feel inspired and supported each and every day. We asked several of our employees to share why Black History Month is important to them.

What does Black History Month mean to you? “For me, Black History Month is a time to celebrate the great achievements of African Americans throughout the history of our nation. It’s also a time to reflect on a period of plight and tribulation during a struggle for freedom and equality. Moreover, it should compel us all to self-reflect on what history teaches us in an effort to unclench our fists and join hands as fellow passengers on Earth.” |
