COVID-19 Pandemic

Operation STONE DRAGON was being affected daily by ongoing government quarantine Covid-19 regulations preventing the British Army from effectively training in the field with the US Army in Germany.

Cubic virtually produced hundreds of square kilometers of Bavarian terrain where the scenario for the exercise took place and linked this to the real force elements deployed in the field providing a realistic training environment for our customers from Solstice Park.

Mission Success

Cubic successfully implemented virtual, integrated training across three countries keeping soldiers connected with our IP voice and chat communications while also meeting and delivering the following complex training objectives:

Effects and simulations for Joint Fires Observer training
Flew virtual Watchkeeper UAV sorties which provided our SCOPIC UAV downlink to ground units
Engaged targets from deployed MLRS fire units
