By gathering employee feedback and measuring engagement levels more frequently, we’re able to get a better pulse on the company in real time. This also enables Cubic to better gauge its success and more nimbly address opportunities for improvement, so we can break down barriers and enable us to achieve our strategic objectives.
The goal of the survey is to give employees a platform to provide honest input on various measured topics covering many dimensions: Engagement, Agility, Communications, Ethics and Values, Fair Treatment / Respect, Innovation, Job Challenge, Leadership/Vision/Direction, Learning & Development, Manager, Operational Effectiveness, Performance Enablement, Rewards and Recognition, and Teamwork.
Here’s how the process works:
- A sample engagement survey is conducted four times per year (January, April, July and October).
- Sirota Consulting, our survey vendor, randomly selects a quarter of the employee base to participate in each sample. Every employee will receive one invitation to participate yearly.
- When selected, employees will receive an email from Sirota with a link to the survey. All responses are completely confidential and delivered directly to Sirota Consulting. Information regarding charge codes and logistics for completing the survey is provided in the survey invitation.
We are committed to demonstrating transparency and working directly with global survey response teams to create action plans within 30 days following each sample. The results are shared with managers, and business unit leaders as well as shared in all-employee email communications, and discussed at least once a year during Cubic’s Quarterly All-Hands Meetings, Quarterly survey can be found via CubicConnect - the company’s employee intranet site.
