Unleash the Decision Advantage
Cubic provides the decision advantage essential for Joint All-Domain Operations in the most demanding environments and accelerates readiness to ensure our warfighters are prepared to face an advanced and capable enemy on Night One. Join us at the AFA Air, Space and Cyber Conference to learn how our industry leading solutions assure Multi-Domain Access, enable data-driven decisions and accelerate warfighting readiness.
Revolutionary Breakthrough in Digital Networking
Cubic’s Halo digital beam forming phased array is the core of the USAF’s High-Capacity Backbone (HCB) prototype. Halo, as a software defined antenna, can host multiple waveforms to include, MerlinTM, Cubic's protected covert advanced tactical data link. Halo overcomes the limitations of Multi-Feed Analog Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) solutions to empower information sharing between the joint force, allies, and partners. The modular, building-block approach will allow the system to be integrated on a variety of platforms, including autonomy-focused unmanned systems and collaborating manned platforms, enabling secure data transport into and out of highly contested environments.
Small Package. Big Performance.
Cubic’s high-performance, low SWaP secure computing solutions unleash the Global Internet of Military Things, delivering the speed, agility, and processing power for agile combat employment. With Cubic’s Cross-Domain appliances, featuring redundant filters built around “raise the bar” guidance, bidirectional data transfer and streaming with video enhancement is now possible at the tactical edge.
Performance. Power. Precision. From Space to the Edge.
Cubic’s US based PolyStrata® process for 3D micro-coax architectures delivers best in class performance for high-isolation and low-loss circuitry in RF and mmW applications. The technology also delivers an unprecedented platform for active chip integration, packaging, and miniaturization. 10x to 100x improvement in Size, Weight, and Power (SWaP), enhances the functional density of sensing, communications and electronic warfare systems. With this technology, increased combat capability and more robust or disaggregated payloads are now achievable.
Closing the Peer Adversary Training Gap
Validated with operational USAF and USN fighter aircraft in 2018 over 97 sorties, Cubic delivered a Joint MILS NSA Type 1 encrypted SITL-LVC ACTS solution using Industry Open Standard protocols and US Government owned 5GATW data link to the CAF DMON standard. The architecture is built for 4th and 5th Gen platforms leveraging existing ACTS infrastructure. No other company has actually demonstrated an ability to inject virtual (simulator flown) and constructive (computer generated) synthetic injects into live fighter cockpit displays at LFE scale, bringing a training capability to prepare for a peer threat fight.
Multi-Domain Data Analysis and Battlespace Visualization
Pilots and aircrews worldwide have relied on Cubic’s Individual Combat Aircrew Display System (ICADS®) as their choice of combat display and debrief software system. However, in order to tackle the complexities of modern multi-domain operations and training, we developed SPEAR as a clean-slate solution to provide an order of magnitude increase in capability founded on three key concepts:
- Live, Virtual, Constructive (LVC) Integration
- Common Data Model (CDM)
- Learning Management with Rapid Analysis
