Timothy Collins Joins Cubic
to Lead Fare
Collection Sales in Midwest and Canada
SAN DIEGO, Calif., March 26, 2004 - Timothy
Collins has joined Cubic Transportation Systems, Inc., a subsidiary
of San Diego-based Cubic Corporation (AMEX:CUB), and the world's
leading provider of automated fare collection systems for public
transit, to lead the company's sales activities in the U.S. Midwest
and central and eastern Canada.
In his new role as sales manager for this region, Collins will assume management
for existing customer relationships in the greater Chicago area and Illinois,
focusing on fare collection system enhancements and commercial services that
will expand the reach of these customers' transit operations and the utility
of their regional smart card. He will also pursue business opportunities in
new markets, including Toronto, Ontario, and surrounding areas.
Collins brings more than ten years of executive-level experience managing sales
accounts in U.S. and international markets. He also has more than 16 years
of experience developing business with national products and services suppliers.
Collins has a master of business administration degree from Loyola University
in Chicago and received his bachelor of science degree from Bradley University,
Peoria, Ill.
